Constructo Universal.Fully-rigged, two-masted brig of approximately 40m keel length. These ships were used in the 18th and 19th centuries both as commercial vessels and light fighting ships, and were also excellent as coast guards. Many were also used as scuttling ships, commercial vessels armed by private traders and fitted out for war and designed to damage the enemy by scuttling, sinking and burning his ships.The kit comes complete with a pre-milled wooden hull, sail material and paint, as well as wooden and metal fittings, together with detailed assembly instructions which include many illustrations.
