Amphion Kit

The Amphion was designed as high-speed sailboat by the famous shipbuilder Frederik Chapman for the Swedish King Gustav III. She was built at the Djurgarden dock in Stockholm. The Amphion was launched in 1778 and was on duty until 1850.This model represent the Amphion as she looks in 1790. Special attention was taken on the design of the golden ornaments. Nearly all wooden parts are completely sawn out.
