The frigate Berlin was built in Zealand in 1674 and then chartered by Benjamin Raule, the Organizer of the Brandenburg fleet, for the Elector Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg. In 1676 the ship was armed with 16 cannons, and the number of crew fluctuated between 70 and 100 men.Putting this magnificent kit together demands not only experience in the building of historical ships but also a great deal of patient work.
