HMS Victory (Corel Kit)

The Victory was launched on 7th May, 1765, the fifth ship of the English fleet to bear that name. Her hour of fame came first when she took part in the Battle of Trafalgar on 21st October, 1805, as flagship of Admiral Nelson, who died in the battle. The badly damaged Victory was patched up in Gibraltar and subsequently thoroughly refurbished in England. She remained in service in the reserve fleet up to 1824. Later the Victory was docked in Portsmouth harbor until 1922. Today this proud ship has been fully restored and is in dry dock as a monument to Britain's long-past naval domination.The model is built to the scale 1:98 and shows the Victory how she looked prior to 1805. The detailed assembly plan has been very carefully executed.
