Gorch Fock model kit

Training sailing ship of the German navy.The three-masted bark, named after the author Gorch Fock, must be the most famous sailing ship in Germany. She went into service for the Germany navy in 1958 and served as a training sailing ship and ship for state occasions. Her 89.32 m length and 1760 t displacement makes this ship an imposing picture in any harbor. Her full white sails and the white line on the hull above the water-line provide the Gorch Fock with its typically noble character, distracting attention away from beautiful deck details.The kit Gorch Fock is equipped, like most of the other ship models, with a laser-cut keel, frames and decks. Many details were likewise cut out by lasers enabling assembly of the model to be fast and uncomplicated. Many details have been etched in brass, making them stand out spectacularly. Also included are all planking and round poles, figure head, anchor, position lamps and many accessories, together with a detailed assembly plan and instructions. The pre-sewn set of sails is not included in the kit, but the Gorch Fock only takes on that typical appearance when fitted with them.Technical data:Scale: 1/90 Length: 980 mm
