HMS Victory Sergal model kit

The Victory must be one of the most famous ships of the British Empire. Built in the naval arsenal of Cothan, the ship was launched in 1765. She thus had already been in service for a considerable period before taking part in the famous sea battle at Trafalgar on 21st October, 1805 as the Admiral's flagship. Under the command of Admiral Nelson, the English fleet was victorious against the Spanish navy and established British domination of the sea.Eight sheets of plans and assembly instructions in Italian, English and German guide you through the assembly, using a large number of perspective drawings. Balsa wood parts and the gun mountings are laser- cut using the utmost precision for a snug fit. Figurehead and other details are made of gold-plated cast brass. Window frames, half-columns for the aft section and headboard are etched from brass sheet, giving them a very dramatic appearance.The interior planking is made of a light-colored wood, while the exterior planking is walnut. There is a more than sufficient supply of walnut in a range of sizes for the deck superstructure.
