A tug typical of those mainly found in the harbors of southern Europe up to the seventies. This model excels thanks to its especially attractive shape, and is a feast for the eyes, whether on exhibit or running on the water.The wooden design keeps the adaptation necessary to fit a steam engine to a minimum. Puffin Horizontal is the most powerful engine possible, while the smaller Pelican, Pintail or Plover Horizontal is also an option.The hull is designed with keel and frames made of laser-cut wooden parts and then planked with cover strips. If Anteo is used as a working model, an extra layer of glass fiber is recommended to make the hull resistant. The superstructures are also made up of laser-machined parts. The genuine wooden bridge is a feast for the eyes, and the numerous details of the vessel make assembly a lot of fun.The set of fittings is extensive and comes complete with stern tube and shaft. Many fittings are cast brass and wood and of first-class quality. The entire bulwark is included as an etched brass plate, allowing individual plates to show up accurately.
