Peggy model kit

Scottish trawler from 1906The Peggy is very typical of the hundreds of trawlers built in Scotland and England. The designers have selected one of the finest for reconstruction according to shipyard drawings and numerous detailed photographs.These vessels were exposed to the hardest conditions and roughest seas. This seaworthiness has naturally been captured in the model. The picture presented by this model when running is elegant in the extreme, a result of its long length. Just like the original, it is very speedy, even with a standard engine. The kit for Peggy is perfectly equipped. The sharply formed glass fiber reinforced plastic hull and superstructures include full detail, even the hundreds of rivets are marked. All wooden parts have been carefully punched, and the wooden deck imprinted. The set of fittings with a large number of cast-metal fittings makes this kit to a really great modeling event.
