The Prins Willem is one of the largest ships of the Dutch East Indian Company. The maiden voyage was on May 5, 1651 to Batavia rigged out as armed trading vessel. The very next year she was changed into a warship. Only one year later she was used again as trading vessel.This model in scale 1/100 is an example for the typical Dutch shipbuilding at the 17th century. The building plan is clearly arranged and includes many perspective drawings. Assembly instruction and patrs list are enclosed. All parts of the kit are of prime quality.
