Even as far back as a thousand years ago, these ships brought those who sailed in them to settle in Iceland and Greenland, and even to discover the continent we now know as North America.The simple way in which the actual ships were built makes assembly of this model an ideal debut for first-time modelers. The assembly centers around the keel, frames and double batten planking. The set of fittings provided includes embossed brass plates, the material for the sails and all ornamental components.
